June 2003
Dear friends,
GET OUT THE CHALK! IT'S HOPSCOTCH WEATHER!
This month's feature is the book Hopscotch, another in the Games Around the World series by author Elizabeth Dana Jaffe. Step-by-step instructions and full-color illustrations show you how to play hopscotch games from around the world. You'll also find answers to such questions as: How long were some of the early hopscotch courts? What is a puck? How do you play escargot? A glossary and an index are also included. Other books in the series include Dominoes, Jacks, and Marbles.
