Charito Calvachi-Mateyko was born and raised in Ecuador, South America. She now lives with her husband John Mateyko in Lewes, Del., and works there and in Lancaster, Pa.
Charito works to promote peace, justice, and Latino Culture. Charito has had rich and diverse experiences such as being a radio show host (including on Lancaster's WLCH, 91.3FM), an author, a storyteller, and a teacher. She will bring copies of her book, Latin American Christmas, to sell and sign.
Charito has visited or lived in 16 countries in the Western Hemisphere.
