To try on your first visit: Sushi, a tasty sticky rice wrapped in seaweed with fish or vegetables in the center.

Owner Qian Li grew up in Mainland China, loving all kinds of seafood. His favorite now? Japanese and sushi of course, says manager Jan Tang. "We do have Thai food as well," she adds.

Presentation is a priority. Take note of how the colors and the arrangement of the food work together. "Colors, tastes, smells are all important," Tang says. "It makes you have a big appetite when you see it."

Tang suggests trying sushi with wasabi, a spicy green condiment, saying it'll "clear your sinuses right away."

To do: While you're in the restaurant try to spot all the bamboo. (Hint: Look up, but not as high as the ceiling.)
